9-10 June. The winners of the grant competition announced
On 9th and 10th June selection committee meetings were held in Kutaisi and Terjola, where the winners of the grant competition announced in frames of supporting small business were determined.
23-25 April. The centre for agricultural tourism development ‘Korena” took part in 12th International Tourist Fair
The agritourism development centre 'Korena' with the support of Czech organization 'People in Need' participated in the 12th International Tourism Fair 'Caucasus Tourism 2010''. Georgian, Armenian and Azerbaijan tourism agencies took part at the exhibition as well.
6-16 April. Consultation meetings in the target communities on filling up the business plan forms
On 6-16 April the group consultation meetings on filling up business plan forms were held for the persons wishing to participate in the PIN’s grant competition. By two meetings were held in each rayon centre, particularly in Tskhaltubo, Terjola and Khoni towns and additionally one meeting took place in PIN’s Kutaisi office.
1st April. Grant competition on business development announced
“People in Need” with support of theCzech Republic Development Cooperation are announcing the grant competition on business development. All residents of Terjola, Tskhaltubo and Khoni rayons wishing to start a new or in certain cases to expand the existing agricultural or non-agricultural business are eligible to take part in the competition. All other conditions being equal, preference will be given to the projects submitted from the following target communities:
